What do we have to consider before our arrival?
In any case, please let us know the expected arrival time (+/- 1 hour) prior your arrival.
When are the check-in and check-out times?
Your apartment is available after 3 p.m. (15:00). Please arrive between 3 p.m. (15:00) and 6 p.m. (18:00) to collect the keys. Since our reception is not manned all the time, please note that prior agreement is required if a later arrival is necessary, so that a key handover is guaranteed. On the day of departure, please vacate your apartment by 10:00 a.m. at the latest.
Which payment options do we have?
If you have not already paid the total amount of your booking in advance, payment will be made with handover of the keys upon your arrival in cash, with your checking/debit card, credit card or via NFC.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, V Pay, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club and UnionPay. NFC payments via Google Pay and Apple Pay are also possible. If you have made a down payment/deposit, the outstanding amount will be reduced accordingly.
Where can we park our car?
You can park your car safely and free of charge in front of the house on our private parking site (Raiffeisenstr. 1, 56814 Ernst). There are enough parking lots available so you do not have to reserve one.
Where can we find a supermarket nearby?
There is an EDEKA supermarket just 500m from our house (Auf dem Acker 15, 56814 Ernst). Here you can find a broad range of food products, fruits and vegetables as well as a bakery and a fresh butcher’s shop.
In addition, you will find REWE, Aldi, PENNY and a dm-drugstore in Cochem.
How do we receive our guest ticket („Gästeticket“)?
You will receive a guest ticket for each of your fellow travelers immediately after your arrival, allowing you to use public transport in the region free of charge. The tickets are valid directly and until your departure date. Of course we provide you with timetables and other information (e.g. discounts).
Is there a possibility to store our bikes and charge e-bikes?
Yes. Of course you can store your bikes safely and dry in our bike room. You can access the room with your apartment key. Here you also have the opportunity to charge e-bikes or batteries at the sockets. For fire safety reasons, please refrain from charging them inside your holiday apartment.
Are bed linen and towels available?
Yes. The total price of your reservation includes bed and table linen as well as towels. You will find everything on site in your holiday apartment. If you want to change towels, just let us know. You will receive fresh towels from us immediately.
How do we get our internet access (WiFi)?
You can use our free Wi-Fi network in all areas of our house. You do not need a password for this. Just connect your device to the network with the SSID trier.freifunk.net.
Is there a high chair or a cot for our toddler available?
Yes. Both will be provided upon request free of charge. Please let us know before your arrival that you are traveling with a small child. So we can make sure that both are available upon your arrival and already in your apartment.
