Offers in Ernst and excursion destinations

Active holiday or relaxing holiday

In the wine and holiday resort of Ernst on the Mosel, there is a wide range of opportunities to get to know the Moselle region intensively. The guest ticket, which you receive free of charge as our house guests, is also ideal for this.

Ernst is located in an extensive loop of the Moselle river (the so-called “Moselkrampen”) in the immediate vicinity of the district town of Cochem and is known for excellent and award-winning wineries, excellent gastronomy and a high level of commitment to its guests.

Our village is surrounded by vineyards and forests and is one of the most important wine and tourism communities on the lower Moselle. Our motto has always been: “Ernst macht Spaß!” (“Ernst is fun”).

The town was awarded the silver medal in the national competition “Our Village has  Future”. A great award for a strong village community, lived customs and diverse social life.
